Most HHC 2021 attendees will stay at the official HHC 2021 hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn Reservation information appears below.

Having an official conference hotel facilitates socializing after hours, arranging carpools, comparing programming techniques while enjoying either the indoor pool or the outdoor whirlpool, and so on. The special HHC 2021 rate is $162.97 per night (all taxes and fees included), single king bed with shower, or double queen beds with shower/tub combo. This special rate is available only until September 10, 2021 or until they run out of vacancies (whichever comes first) for HHC 2021 attendees and their families, and only for the nights between October 1 and 3, 2021. If you need a night before or after that, contact the hotel at the phone number given below; they might  give you the special rate for those nights too. It's worth a try.

Note: At this time there are no COVID-19 restrictions-- masks, etc.-- in Tennessee. However, after discussion among ourselves and soliciting input from from people who have registered to attend this year's conference, the HHC 2021 committee has decided to require attendees to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination when checking in on-site. This proof can be a vaccination card or certificate, a photo thereof, or presentation of a vaccination app. You must present this proof in order to attend the conference.

Reservations

(1) Phone: 1 615-355-6262. We have had some problems with hotel reservation staff being unaware of the special room rate we're due. The best results seem to come from speaking directly to the front desk rather than an off-site reservation agent. Mention the "HHC Conference rate" of $139 per night (base rate) or $162.97 per night with all taxes and fees. You may have to be firm about this! Apparently the best way to get to the front desk is to call this number and simply wait, rather than trying to go through the menu tree. Good luck and sorry for the trouble.

Note that you'll probably not get the special room rate if you go this route. All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. Guests must cancel their individual reservations at least 48-hours prior to the 3 p.m. date of arrival to avoid a penalty charge of the first night's room and tax.

Meals

The hotel features an in-house restaurant. Most conference attendees will eat breakfast there. Note that breakfast is not complimentary!

At this time we're unsure how many meals will be included with your conference registration.

Transportation between Hotel and Airport

Sadly there is no free hotel shuttle this year: rent a car if you're feeling like you might wish to explore, or use a cab or service like Uber or Lyft.
